The EyeOpener- Sibel Edmonds on the Boston Bombing: The US Roots of “Chechen” Terrorism

BFP VideoFBI whistleblower and editor Sibel Edmonds joins us to discuss the recent Boston bombing hysteria and the potential geopolitical implications of the American public's "discovery" of Chechen terror. We discuss Sibel's work exposing the US/NATO roots of so-called Chechen terrorism, and what the FSB's involvement in this twisted tale might mean in terms of future Russian-US relations.

  1. Possibly the older brother Tamerlan suddenly became a militant Islamist because like Ozwald he was trying to become a “dangle” to be picked up by Chechnya/Chechen mob to be a double agent. He kept meeting with a known militant 6 times! Enough to get the Russians to request the FBI look into him. Of curse they found nothing. It did increase his credibility. But now his rants and raves are for his cover to be a dangle are being used to paint him as a Islamist. It’s much easier for the state department to use a guy from the region who speaks the languages.

  2. msannanola says:

I noticed something interesting in the coverage. They keep showing the older brother with the hat and glasses but they show the younger one with a nice clear photo. Why would they default to an unclear photo the day of the bombing when others are available? Look at the day of attack photos of the younger one, look at the chin. The clear photo they keep showing looks different to me. This is just my observation. Are they doing this because they know the young one will be in court so they are using actual photos of him not his bombing day stand in? The coverage has been very biased against these two very rarely do they even bother to say alleged.

  3. Wonderful, very insightful interview. Thanks. The role of Putin (and the Russian elite) is indeed worthy of a future installment. In terms of the development of a global corporate super-structure (WTO, the New World Order) it makes perfect sense that the Putin Corporation (there is a well-researched book with that name) has already been co-opted. This gives a (for me) new but productive perspective on geopolitics. Thanks again.

  4. CuChulainn says:

not sure about Felshitinsky, autor of the book you mention, based on his own company–

Yuri Felshtinsky received doctorates from Rutgers University and the University of Moscow, and was a research fellow at the Hoover Institute, University of Stanford. He is the author of many books on the Russian secret service, including the acclaimed Blowing up Russia with Alexander Litvinenko.
