Update-The Lone Gladio: New Launch Date

After nearly two years of nonstop work I have arrived at the final stage on my book - where things start coming together and the countdown begins. It is still a bit early to take a deep breath or welcome a pat on the back. While the bulk of the work required in finalizing and producing my book is over and done with, there still remain a few steps: the completion of interior design, file conversions, final reviewing of the sample printed copies, website design, and … well, I guess that’s when I’ll welcome that pat on the back.

Up until a couple of months ago, based on the required workload, logistics and scheduling, I was aiming for a mid to late October release. However, just to make things more hectic, pressurized and chaotic, I revised the release date plan- not just by a few days, but by 5 to 6 weeks. Why? Because I’m masochistic that way! No, really- here is why: because for me the new launch date is as important as what I have written, why I have written it, and to whom and what I have dedicated this book (which is on record). It is far more than ‘symbolic’ for me. It is not about drama. Nor is it about some twisted marketing ploy. It may be hard for some of you to understand, but I suspect only a very few of you here at Boiling Frogs Post will have any difficulties or reservations in understanding and appreciating the new release date- September 11, 2014.

The change in release date came with much pressure and scrambling, not only for me, but for the entire production team of The Lone Gladio. It is as the saying goes: It takes an entire village. Although this book is self-published, with no involvement whatsoever with any corporation, to produce this book, and to make sure it is produced as a high quality book, I gathered together a team of highly experienced professional people. A delightful circle of individuals, most of whom I worked with in producing my previous book- Classified Woman.  A group whom I respect, trust and consider friends: Michael Wilde (Senior Editor), Christine Van Bree (Cover Artist & Designer), Lorie Pagnozzi (Interior Designer), and Cecilia Molinari (Proofreading & Final Editing). Everyone on this team had to work hard and fast to make this new date, September 11, a reality. I am very thankful to each and every one of them.

Over the next few weeks I will be working on the design and production of the website for The Lone Gladio. Meanwhile, I am looking for experienced marketing experts who are willing to help us in getting the word out and to help raise awareness. I am not looking for salespeople. No. I am looking for ‘real believers,’ those who believe in the fight for truth and justice as much as I do-as much as we do. Those within our irate minority circle here at Boiling Frogs Post. Please let me know if you are interested in being a part of our BFP team in utilizing independent forums and networks to help get the word out on this coming book.

I know we have spent loads of time talking and writing about the need for both collective and individual action for truth, change and justice. Writing this book is one way for me as an individual to continue the fight- for truth. Similarly, producing this book independently, as a self-publisher, is another way for me as an individual to challenge the establishment and big corporations. Sure- it would have been far easier to accept a few dollars from one of the scummy mega publishers out there, turn in my manuscript to them, and let them butcher it (editorially), produce and market it. However, as we all know, the best track is rarely the easiest track. Thus, my decision to produce this book - despite a limited budget and a hefty workload, independently and with the help of similarly independent experts.

The same principle applies to marketing and sales of this book. I am not interested in marketing and publicity companies. I am not interested in sleek and jazzy sales pitches or annoying pop up ads and forced-fed web cookies. What I am seeking is a handful of activists and believers who know how to reach and inform other activists and truth-seekers. Same with independent and creative methods to reach out and spread the word, and to do so with integrity.

I believe I have covered the updates and status on our coming book. I will keep you posted as the release date nears. Meanwhile, those of you who have the expertise and are interested in helping with the release of this book and getting the word out on it, please contact me via the BFP contact page, and include a bit about yourself, your ideas and your expertise. With that said, here is a brief (and somewhat ambiguous) synopsis from The Lone Gladio:

THE LONE GLADIO

Assassinations. Drug running. False flag ops. A shadow paramilitary global network. Synthetic wars. CIA-NATO: A darker truth. Operation Gladio Plan B: Murder.

OG 68—a k a Greg McPhearson—no longer works for the company. The hunter has now become prey. He knows this beast: what created him and shattered his soul. Until Mai. When he opened the door to her three years ago, he opened what soul he had left. Yet no amount of pride or power, he discovers—too late—can ever replace one precious breath …

When a sting is called off at the last minute by his FBI bosses per order of the CIA, Special Agent Ryan Marcello decides to do some digging. He calls in senior analyst Elsie Simon, expert in the Turkey-Central Asian-Caucasus nexus, to help track down the high-level target with ties to ruthless power players in a global narcotics-terrorism ring. Every lead and each new suspect brings them that much closer to home. With Elsie’s help, and at risk to their lives, the two begin their own investigating …

The missing son of a U.S. mogul leads to the hiring of Ryan and Elsie, who are used and then trapped in a byzantine scheme of retribution: of black ops within black ops, trails gone cold, kidnappings, blackmail, unexplained murders … a plot that extends from Russia and Azerbaijan to Cambodia, Vietnam, and deep inside the Deep State.

In a world where reality now stands on its head, “my enemy’s enemy is my enemy”—and for his final mission, no one would be spared … the Gladio would be acting alone ...

  1. I look forward to purchasing and reading your book, Sibel. I am also sure you have dotted your I’s, crossed your T’s and put a ribbon around the information.

  2. You bet. In addition to dotting my I’s & T’s, I have a ribbon with a message to ‘them’ which says: how everything, everyone, every place, every event … are aaaalllllll fictional;-)

Excellent, Sibel, I am looking forward to it.
I think September 11th speaks volumes/ or at least it does for me. I love the description.
No one will be spared in the final mission… a black bag op?
    All my best.
    Kathy

  4. I knew you were up to something special. Great news Sibel! This is one of those times for me when anticipation is a wonderful thing. I also appreciate the choice of release date.

  5. Thank you, Sibel. This is the most important disclosure of our generation. And, even with the thin veil of fiction, I’m sure many more will come to understand that 9/11 can no longer be seen as blowback. I really think the audience with the most to learn is that group of alt-media unwitting propagandists, who still cannot connect the dots and always leave their viewers with the incorrect diagnosis of blowback by religious extremists, because it’s the only catch-all conclusion that they understand.

When you said, in your Gladio Plan B series with Corbett, to think of Zawahiri in terms of military rank, instead of as an asset (to which then the ignorant all add “double-crossing”), you were really clearing the fog, as I’m sure this new book will continue to do. And, I truly hope that it will affect the alt-media pundits first and foremost.

I’ll do as much as I can to spread the word.

    • Clarification: Think of Zawahiri having rank in the USA/NATO A military, instead of as a CIA asset who double crossed us. The orchestration goes from the Pentagon, through. NATO, then on down to the Brussels Sprouts like al qaeda in xyz, ISIS, etc.

  6. “In a world where reality now stands on its head, “my enemy’s enemy is my enemy”—and for his final mission, no one would be spared … the Gladio would be acting alone …”

My blowback’s blowback is my blowback.

  7. Holy sh… (cross the ‘t’ and dot the ‘i’ 😉
I knew this was on the way, but dropping in here and seeing the actual cover (very elegant btw), just caught me by surprise and that’s all I could say initially.

Okay, now that I regained my composure; Sibel, I guess I won’t give you a pat on the back, but maybe a virtual high five and a cup of ice water as you approach the finish line could be deemed as permissible. 🙂 I know you’ve got your work cut out for you, but I think releasing the novel on 9/11 does indeed make a statement about how the story fits into the larger context of the so called “war on terror”; the re-branded cold war agenda, and now the cold war 2.0 geopolitical strategy unfolding in particularly dramatic fashion, in a way which would otherwise be difficult to do without being explicit.

The Gladio B series with James was my introduction to you, so I feel a particular sense of heightened anticipation on a personal level. That series probably had the most profound effect on helping me put everything I’d researched post 9/11 into the larger context of the US/NATO geo political agenda than anything else up to that point. On top of that, your memoir was so well written that it’s hard for me to imagine how good this novel is going to be and in turn, how successful it has the potential to be.

That said, I’m not exactly a good point man on the media outreach side of things per se, however I’m enthusiastic about this so I may very well be in touch if I think of any specific ways on the technical, creative, (or even media/social media side of things). Nothing immediate comes to mind right now, but I’ll be in touch via the contact form if I do think of something I have to offer. For now, high fives and an ice water. Go Sibel! 🙂

Sibel I am really looking forward to purchasing and reading your new novel!
Your first book ‘Classified Woman’ was so well-written and informative that I have no choice
at all but to stay on top of every work you publish going forward.
I wish you all the success you deserve with your new book and also appreciate the date you have chosen for its release.

  9. Can’t wait to read it! I’m going to buy the physical book this time so I can share it with my family and friends. Thank you for all your work!

  10. Sibel, you may or may not have time to look at much here at the moment, but just a couple of thoughts…

It would be cool to do a Gladio B part two style interview with James when the novel’s released. As many including myself have mentioned, that was a particularly comprehensive and effective presentation of the subject matter and you and James worked well together in that format. It would be a good primary promotional resource for people to share on social media and it would also increase the visibility of the initial series, particularly somewhere like youtube, where the popularity, title, and the relationship between videos all influence what people see. Emphasizing the relationship between your background as it pertains to the novel’s subject matter could also play a valuable role in providing a context which makes the story more accessible to an audience who’s new to Operation Gladio and the geopolitical framework it’s a component of.

These may very well be things you’ve already thought about, but I’m enthusiastic about this novel, so I figured I’d put my two cents in for what it’s worth.

    • Good idea, BennyB. I have a feeling that it will happen. And yes, placement of the fiction next to the non-fiction material is going to be a key strategy to remember. I’d like to see James create a DVD of the 2013 series on Gladio Plan B and include an interview done after this book release. That DVD could be sold in a package with the new book. Somehow.

I’d also like to see a permanent link (or menu item) on the BFP homepage/menu bar. One that takes the user to a page with offerings of both the 2013 series and the book.

Just ideas, as you suggest, to link these together for context and the link from fiction back to non-fiction.

I will be purchasing this book and telling the local libraries to buy it too.
