Death at Your Door: Knock-and-Talk Police Tactics Rip a Hole in the Constitution

This is what passes for “knock-and-talk” policing in the American police state. “Knock-and-shoot” policing might be more accurate, however. Whatever you call it, this aggressive, excessive police tactic has become a thinly veiled, warrantless exercise by which citizens are coerced and intimidated into “talking” with heavily armed police who “knock” on their doors in the middle of the night. Winston Churchill once declared that “democracy means that if the doorbell rings in the early hours, it is likely to be the milkman.” Clearly, we don’t live in a democracy. No, in the American police state, when you find yourself woken in the early hours by someone pounding on your door, smashing through your door, terrorizing your family, killing your pets, and shooting you if you dare to resist in any way, you don’t need to worry that it might be burglars out to rob and kill you: it’s just the police.

Home invasion has worked all over the planet for the US, so why not do it at home.

Where do they recruit these Stormtroopers from anyway? Home For The Criminally Insane?

Maybe when they see old ladies being dragged out of their homes or turned into Swiss cheese the people will wake up? ‘Sorry, we thought she was a terrorist sleeper cell, she was old anyway and she shouldn’t have waved her walking frame at us.’

So, politicians think their job is to rule us, not serve us and the police think their job is to subdue us, not protect us. Judges – I just don’t know – are they handing them out in a lottery now?

This video prompted my subscription to NEWSBUD.

Please create more analysis of this issue. Mr. Whitehead delivers a closing argument keynoting the horrific abuses and lethal outcomes of police and the courts dilution of the 4th amendment through judicial misfeasance. This issue is the Boiling of Frogs, but I notice few are engaged? Here?
Consider if this closing argument presumes a captured audience in a jury box. Elements of the analysis, keynotes for indignation such as the mechanics of qualified immunity may need to be spoon fed more?

Please increase exposure of this piece. Complete the translation of the video. This is a key source of youtube search engine SEO. The auto translation is poor and the NEWSBUD name is translated “new bud.” This will allow for closed caption viewing of material by the hearing impaired or those who can’t watch the video with the sound on or those who read English better than listen.

Frankly this video is less sexy than the Global issues, but certainly carries more impact on an individual’s healthy life. Like the flossing of teeth, important but disgusting and uncomfortable. Likewise, it needs reinforcement in repetitive short reminders, (i.e. “You have teeth, floss them every day. You have rights, demand them every day.”) before decay leaves our civil rights completely toothless.
