America’s Forever War

On this edition of The Geopolitical Report, we take a look at a plan by President Donald Trump and his generals to expand the number of troops in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan despite Trump’s previous promise to not meddle in the Middle East. Despite Trump's pledge to get out of Afghanistan, his generals are pushing for an expansion of troops and a military “surge” in the country. We also take a look at Bush's generational war and Dick Cheney's warning that the war on terror will last decades. The Bush Doctrine of aggressive militarism was praised by leading neocons, including Max Boot, William Kristol, Robert Kagan, and John Bolton. Like Obama, Trump has adopted the neocon concept of forever war, but on his own terms.

Thank you for this insightful and detailed video. I will follow you as best I can with the time I have, and support as much as I’m able. I am finishing up school right now, but when I graduate with my BA I’ll have plenty of time to study your work while I continue my education.

  2. Hard to say if there is more arrogance or ignorance of these people carving up the world like it’s theirs to carve up. As though there are no people in these territories, no life at all.

I guess they themselves are dead on the inside.

We will never see peace as long as we are kept slaves to Israel and their usury and hate. Notice how even now Israel is bombing Syria but treating ISIS troops in their hospitals. Since 1948 we have known nothing but war and the latest crusade in the middle east.
