US Rejects China-Russia’s Demand! Massive Military Drill on North Korea Coming!

This week on Newsbud’s China Watch with Peter Lee: If there’s a war on the Korean peninsula don’t forget to thank PACOM and its stubborn refusal to accept dual suspension.  And there’s an interesting explanation for the Doklam Plateau confrontation that’s making the rounds.  It’s one that explains Bhutan’s silence on the issue but doesn’t make India look too great.  And we look at China’s breakthrough in quantum communications, and its breakout action flick, Wolf Warrior 2.

  1. Thanks.
It would be a completely delightful experience to watch your report if only the news weren’t so disturbing.
    Keep it up.

  2. John Nelson says:

I don’t know, but does anyone else find it odd that a major military incursion on the Korean Peninsula, and perhaps a war could occur the same day as the eclipse goes over the United States?

  3. Clifton N Wayne says:

Great News, thoughtful opinion & humor. One of the main reasons for watching and supporting Newsbud is China Watch, I keep checking for the next one.
    Thank You Mr Lee,
    Clifton Wayne

  4. Max Havelaar says:

Ulchi Freedom Guardian, tomorrow! All these men running around doing nothing substantial, just marketing for the Defense contractors and Pacom.
A yearly round show, almost Hollywood.

My guess is, Kim Jong-Un is China’s clown. And whenever China want to signal something to the US, Kim fires empty missiles into the air, or underground nucleair tests. Then wait and see what the cowboys do.

For China and Russia the US THAAD missile system must go out of South-Korea. For the Koreans themselves, north and south, they want to see the stupid annual excercise stopped, understandably.

Since the US has many boots on the ground, some 25.000, an all out invasion of the North is unlikely, because the supremacist cowboys lives are at risk.

  5. victor friese says:

Um, one of the reasons the U.S. puts boots on the ground in places like that, where they are basically doing nothing, is so that if a country attacks the U.S. soldiers, the U.S. can claim that as a reason to attack the country. They are basically just an excuse waiting to happen.

    • Max Havelaar says:

The US criminal intelligence(FBI, CIA, DHS,.. and Pentagon/Nato) will create any lie needed, to attack: Pearl Harbor (WWII), Gulf of Tonkin (Vietnam), 9-11 (the Middle-East wars): called false flag operations. In Syria so-called chemical attacks (from ISIS weapons depots) Trump launched Tomahawks, who were fried on the sea in mid-air by the Russians .

In general neocons do covert wars, many US boots and deaths. Democrats, the better liars, do covert wars with foreign boots and deaths, with a result much uglier: behold the Syrian holocaust.

In my view, North-Korea is steadily backed by Russia and China, with all their mobile land- missile systems nearby (short, medium, long) to send an avalanche of bombs thru air to destroy anything: ships – boots – planes-anything. No chance gringos.

  6. John Nelson says:

    Dear Peter,

Could you include a segment on the USS Fitzgerald and USS John McCain collisions over the past couple of months? I’d be interested to hear what is be said in the Asian nations about these incidents.
