In the eighty-sixth edition of the Russian Newspapers Monitor, Professor Filip Kovacevic discusses front page articles from four Russian newspapers: Komsomolskaya Pravda, Vedomosti, Kommersant, and Parlamentskaya Gazeta. He discusses the main issues that the Russian president Vladimir Putin raised during his annual question and answer call-in show. Professor Kovacevic also examines the increasing economic cooperation between Russia and China, which represents the basis for a new Eurasian political, economic, military, and intelligence frameworks, such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). In addition, he discusses the demographic situation in Russia and the Russian government’s immigration policies. Lastly, Professor Kovacevic focuses on the International Parliamentary Summit which took place in Moscow recently as an example of Russia’s public relations strategy to break out of the isolation imposed by the West.     Thanks for some real skinny on Russian rags at the moment — most edifying. Question: how is a “bi-polarity” structural situation more stable than a “unipolarity” or “multipolarity”? Is that only within the present Russian context? How would that concept extend in the EU or US?

    Hi Can you do some research on latest developments by the Israeli military in Poland? Grzegorz Braun in his interview with emisja.tv is talking about entire villages being displaced with their citizens expelled via equivalent of imminent domain. Mr. Braun is suggesting that some heavy weapons possibly nuclear tipped rockets are being moved underground under the guise of different large scale construction projects.
