BFP Exclusive- Without Truth, Life is Worthless: On Sibel Edmonds’ The Lone Gladio

The Lone Gladio: The fight against evil requires a massive counter-force. It requires not one but an army of angels-demons.

Sibel Edmonds' first novel is more than a spy story or a geopolitical thriller. It is a work of fiction that makes us confront the dark structures of our contemporary existence. It makes us ask perennial philosophical questions about the meaning of justice and truth and the utility of individual and collective rebellion. It makes us come face to face with the reality of the world we live in, the reality which Edmonds describes as more monstrous than our worst nightmares because there appears to be no escape except death.

Weaving together the traumatic life stories of the FBI analyst Elsie Simon and the high-level CIA operative Gregory McPhearson, Edmonds depicts the world run by the shadow networks of the US-NATO Deep State. The individuals at the top of this infernal hierarchy, built on the interlinking of the war, energy, and financial industries are described as seeing themselves as visionaries and believing themselves to be gods. The lives of ordinary people mean nothing to them. They will use any and all means and methods at their disposal, no matter how brutal, to affirm and strengthen their grip on world domination. All aspects of global criminality operate under their supervision: narcotics trade, money laundering, terrorism, dictatorships, coup d’états, wars, revolutions, etc. Their absolute control over the US and European political representatives and the mass media allows them to manipulate the public into believing whatever they want them to believe. That day is night, that truth is falsehood, that those who resist and rebel are criminals or madmen or both.

But can anything be done about it? Can this vicious circle of sadism and violence be stopped before it is too late, before the whole wide world becomes one monolithic police state to which everyone must profess obedience or perish in the torturers' hands? In the novel, Edmonds provides an answer as to how the circle could be broken temporarily, how the world could get "a bit of peace, if only for a little while". But even that requires the appearance of an archetypal hero, an angel-demon, who takes the matters in his own hands.

The problem is that the US-NATO Deep State has already become so embedded in the existing political landscape, having been endowed with the unlimited money-printing powers via the Federal Reserve, that it is able to plan several worldwide power-grabbing operations at the same time. As Edmonds' main protagonist puts it, you cut off "two tiny heads of the beast, but the hydra's got hundreds more". The mythological metaphor is completely in order. The powers of the Deep State go beyond what the captive public thinks humanly possible.

This attitude on the part of the majority is nothing new. Ever since Plato's allegory of the cave, it is known that most people have been raised to feel content to live and die chained in the darkness taking the shadows of the artifacts on the wall for reality. The philosopher, the person who possesses knowledge of the truth, is supposed to be their liberator. But more often than not, he or she is their first victim. Their captors are more dear to them than truth and slavery more precious than freedom.

Still, in every age and every culture, there are those who have and will pursue the path of true knowledge and wisdom, no matter what. The motivation to pursue justice and truth is passed on to them from their elders like a torch and they will carry it forward into the next generation. It is a process both psychological and metaphysical. Yet until they organize, until they pull together their abilities and strengths, until they form their own unique community across their different nationalities, religions, and languages, their victories, if any, will remain provisional and short-lasting. They will not be able to break the chain, to dry out the river of pain, to turn the shock-and-awe Medusa into the stone.

This is why Edmonds does not and cannot end her novel conclusively. The fight against evil requires a massive counter-force. It requires not one but an army of angels-demons, in addition to the tremendous effort to create new educational models and new media content. This novel therefore must have a sequel. I am already impatiently waiting for it.

Reviews & Analyses

The Lone Gladio” Blows The Lid Off Of Gladio B- By James Corbett

“The Lone Gladio,” the new novel by FBI whistleblower and BoilingFrogsPost.com founder Sibel Edmonds, is not just another spy novel. Yes, it is about spies…of a sort. And clandestine missions. And double-crosses and unsure loyalties. But that’s where the similarity ends

The novel has all the twists and turns of any spy thriller, and then some. There is action, suspense, high-tech spy gadgetry, violence, and a love story. But what sets this book apart is that, unlike a Tom Clancy or John Le Carré novel, “The Lone Gladio” is not escapism. In fact, it is exactly the opposite: it is a vehicle for revealing the shocking reality underneath the surface of the mundane picture of the world we are presented with on the nightly news. No jingoistic patriotism and good guys in service to the president bunkum here

We would be fools not to take this book and the message it is desperately trying to impart seriously. And that message is that there is a deep state, that it has been functioning a long time, and that it is puppeteering the events we see playing out across the nightly news.

Eat your heart out, Fleming, Ludlow, Clancy, Le Carré; “The Lone Gladio” boldly goes where no mere spy yarn would dare.

The Lone Gladio Distills the Complexity of the “Deep State” Down to its Most Basic Properties- By Mark Mondalek

Ray Bradbury once characterized his classic dystopian novel Fahrenheit 451 as being a literary novel disguised as a fugitive chase story. Edmonds’s own fictional approach deploys a similar story-telling technique, one grounded in the fast-paced, life-or-death aesthetics of her foremost subject matter

The Lone Gladio’s ability to distill the complexity of the “Deep State” down to its most basic properties is arguably the novel’s greatest achievement. Through a vast array of pieced together narratives, with characters spread out within a wide labyrinth of hidden networks and locations––from Turkey to Vietnam; Washington to Azerbaijan––a comprehensive vision of this veiled reality is meticulously constructed

In its own “web of ambiguity,” The Lone Gladio journeys beyond labels and pegged ideas to frequently ask more of its readers than meets the eye. The space between the traditional roles of protagonist and antagonist are so compact at times that a true distinction between good and evil is left nearly indecipherable

"The Lone Gladio" Reveals Washington's Strategy for Winning the New Great Game- By Christoph Germann

Sibel Edmonds’ new novel The Lone Gladio takes the reader on an exciting journey across the globe from Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan to Southeast Asia and the belly of the beast in the United States. As seemingly disconnected plot strands are brilliantly woven together, we get to see how one of the most important clandestine operations of our time works and who is pulling the strings behind the scenes

The Lone Gladio is thought-provoking from the very first page and the blurry line between fiction and reality encourages the reader to take a closer look at publicly available information about the actors, locations and operations mentioned by Sibel Edmonds in her novel. Even small details deserve closer attention. For example, when Georgia’s Poti Sea Port is named as a transit point for Afghan heroin in the drug trafficking network of the company,[7] this is hardly accidental.[8]

Readers of The Lone Gladio will realize that operations like this are not conducted by the respective puppet government on its own, as we are often led to believe. Instead, Pentagon, NATO, CIA and MI6 are pulling the strings behind the scenes

The Lone Gladio is a must-read for everyone who is interested in the New Great Game in the Eurasian Balkans. Sibel Edmonds has written an eye-opening book, which sheds light on Operation Gladio B and provides much-needed information to understand current developments in Central Asia, the Caucasus and beyond

The Deep State Factionalized- By Cindy Sheehan

After the book arrived, it took me a few days to sit down and crack open The Lone Gladio, but when I finally did I had trouble putting it down

Sibel does a great job of portraying what I suspect is the reality of the slimy underbelly of the “deep state’ without turning the bad guys into noble actors or falling into the trap that the USA actually has any good intentions and sometimes, regrettably (yeah, right) has to do evil to meet those ends

The Lone Gladio was released on September 11, 2014 and it’s factional recounting of the suppression of the events that led to such a disaster and horrendous aftermath is so important because after 13 years, many, many people are still dying and being tortured for the lies and cover-ups of that day.

In fact, the current US “peace” president and propaganda mill of the war machine are lying us right into more and more wars and we need more courageous whistle-blowers who refuse to be “gagged” to step forward and get these stories out any way that they can and Sibel is a gifted storyteller.

A Great Read: As Good As Any Clancy or Ludlum Novel … With a Twist- By Washington’s Blog

I’m a sucker for Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum type spy novels. Sibel Edmonds’ The Lone Gladio is a great read. It’s one of the best action, thriller, spy novels I’ve ever read. It’s such a page-turner that I stayed up way too late reading … and ignored my work. I had to find out what happened to the main characters!

Written with all the excitement of a Clancy or Ludlum novel, The Lone Gladio blends the typical male spy thriller voice with a unique female voice … which provides an interesting and complex perspective …

The Lone Gladio: An Edge-of-Your-Seat Thriller- By Tom Secker

Great spy novels are rare.  Great books about state terrorism and geopolitics are even rarer.  In The Lone Gladio Sibel Edmonds gives you both – an edge-of-your-seat thriller combined with a devastating exposé of some of NATO’s very worst crimes, among them the terror attacks of 9/11.  Suppressed by the mainstream media and gagged by the federal government, former FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds has not only set up her own media platform at Boiling Frogs Post, and published her own autobiography Classified Woman, she has now added top-rate fiction to her arsenal of weapons in her ongoing fight with the NATO establishment.

And it is a wild ride.  A globetrotting, Crichton-esque narrative unfolds, from Baku to the jungles of Vietnam, in true page-turning fashion.

And yet, the book is no typical glorification of spies and secret agents.  Even when circumstances force Elsie to team up first with a billionaire obsessed with the murder of his son and then with the rampaging torturer/assassin OG 68, she still voices powerful and articulate moral objections.  It is these, rather than the satisfying array of revenge attacks carried out by OG 68, that are left ringing in the mind of the reader.

What is most impressive about this novel is that while it effortlessly apes all the usual bells and whistles of spy thrillers it is a very subversive book.  I have read literally hundreds of spy stories and I cannot think of another that offers the reader as much as The Lone Gladio.  For a dozen different reasons, I could not put this book down, and you won’t be able to either…

Sibel Edmonds Goes Deep on Her New Novel, and the Deep State
by Peter B. Collins on November 3, 2014

Sibel Edmonds talks about her new novel, The Lone Gladio, and explains some of the key elements of her fictional narrative based on the “deep state”, Operation Gladio, and CIA covert operations.

Edmonds is the FBI whistleblower who told her own story in the nonfiction memoir, Classified Woman. Her new novel is based on those experiences and what she learned from dozens of members of her National Security Whistleblowers Coalition. She explains why she chose to write this novel, and some of the history of Operation Gladio, which remains mostly classified. Gladio originated during the Cold War, and has morphed into a monster that Edmonds says continues to operate–she connects it to al Qaeda and al Nusra.

She also offers a fascinating distinction between the black ops of the CIA and what her novel calls “the company”, a transnational collaboration of the CIA, Britain’s MI6, the Pentagon and NATO. We talk about the true mission of NATO in the context of Russia and Ukraine.

Operation Gladio B: A Roundtable Discussion with Pearse Redmond, Tom Secker & Sibel Edmonds

The Endgame Scenario for Operation Gladio, the “Pakistanization of Turkey” & the reality of Putin’s power

On this special thirtieth episode of Porkins Policy Radio we welcome back Sibel Edmonds and Tom Secker for a roundtable discussion of The Lone Gladio and Operation Gladio B. Tom starts us off by exploring some of the themes brought out in The Lone Gladio with respect to main character Greg McPhearson; will we ever see a “rogue agent” within the CIA take on the agency? How does the oft-used concept of “blow-back” fit in with the murder of Greg’s lover Mai? Sibel discusses in detail the problems with blow-back as they exist in popular discourse, and explains how unintended consequences of covert operations are almost always intended by those implementing them. Later we move on to the endgame scenario for Operation Gladio: Sibel explains how the “Pakistanization” of Turkey is in fact a goal of the Gladio Deep State network.

Sibel talks about how beneficial it is to the Gladio operators to have a weak and divided Turkey. We discuss the new face of ISIS, Georgian-born jihadi Tarkhan Batirashvili and his striking similarity to one of Sibel’s characters in The Lone Gladio, Yousef Mohammad, as well as the real life story of Ayman al Zawahiri. Rounding out the conversation is Sibel’s analysis of the current geopolitical situation with Russia and NATO. Sibel goes into detail about the reality of Putin’s power, and gives her opinion as to why Russia has not been more confrontational towards the encroaching NATO presence in its own backyard.

Edmonds Speaks Truth through Fiction in ‘The Lone Gladio’- By Guillermo Jimenez of Traces of Reality

On this edition of Traces of Reality Radio: Guillermo is joined by Sibel Edmonds, editor and publisher of Boiling Frogs Post, founder-director for the National Security Whistleblowers Foundation, and author of the critically acclaimed book Classified Woman: The Sibel Edmonds Story.

Sibel has just released a new book, a novel, called The Lone Gladio. In this interview, Sibel explains why she chose a “fictional drama” as the vehicle to tell this story. She speaks about a few of the various interesting characters in the book, and her inspiration for writing them. Of course, any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.

Sibel also talks about many of the larger themes in this book: Operation Gladio, black ops, government corruption, and the Deep State. Sibel explains how Gladio did not end with the Cold War and the fall of the Soviet Union, but continues to this day in what the FBI calls “Gladio B.”

Sibel discusses the present-day importance of Gladio B as run by the company — a confluence of high-ranking officials in the Pentagon, CIA, MI6, and NATO — and what it has to do with the terror unleashed on September 11, 2001.

The Lone Gladio is a gripping story full of twists and turns. Sibel masterfully navigates readers through tangled webs of lies and conspiracy, shining light on issues that prefer darkness.

The Lone Gladio with Sibel Edmonds- By Pearse Redmond of Porkins Policy

On this week's episode we had the great pleasure of speaking with the one and only Sibel Edmonds of Boiling Frogs Post. Sibel is, of course, a former FBI linguist and whistle-blower who had the draconian State Secrets Privilege enacted against her, essentially classifying her entire life.

Sibel joined us to discuss her brand new novel, The Lone Gladio, which elaborates on many subjects discussed in her memoir Classified Woman: The Sibel Edmonds Story. This modern spy thriller deals exclusively with the Deep State and the secretive NATO/CIA/MI6/Pentagon program know as "Operation Gladio B." Sibel and I discuss her decision to portray the CIA characters not as James Bond-style heroes, but as the dark, complicated, and often brutal people they truly are.

Sibel also goes into detail about the geopolitical aspects of her new novel, which we explore, including how nations such as Georgia (featured prominently in The Lone Gladio) are being used by NATO and Gladio operatives as a launching ground for false-flag terror in Russia and around the globe. We also go into how Gladio B came about in the early 1990's. Sibel explains how language, culture and religion were manipulated in Central Asia and the Caucus region in order to create the very terror groups that we claim to be fighting today. We finish off our conversation by exploring who is at the top of this destructive pyramid of control and terrorism.

The Lone Gladio has reinvented the spy thriller as we know it. For anyone interested in the mechanics of the Deep State and its relationship to false flag terror, drug trafficking, media manipulation, blackmail, sex trafficking and more: Please go out and purchase a copy of this book! Honestly, this is one of the most important books to come out in decades!

“The Lone Gladio” reveals Washington’s strategy for winning the New Great Game- A Review by Christoph Germann

“The Lone Gladio is a must-read for everyone who is interested in the New Great Game in the Eurasian Balkans.”

By Christoph Germann

Sibel Edmonds’ new novel The Lone Gladio takes the reader on an exciting journey across the globe from Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan to Southeast Asia and the belly of the beast in the United States. As seemingly disconnected plot strands are brilliantly woven together, we get to see how one of the most important clandestine operations of our time works and who is pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Operation Gladio B is the preferred weapon of “the company” (Pentagon, NATO, CIA & MI6) in the geopolitical struggle against Russia and China. This struggle is in full swing in many parts of the world but since the New Great Game in the Eurasian Balkans is of prime importance, the shadowy paramilitary Gladio network is particularly active in Central Asia, the Caucasus and Turkey. The modus operandi of the company is being highlighted on the first few pages of The Lone Gladio, when Gladio operative Greg McPhearson (OG 68) enters an underground operations center beneath a mosque in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku to prepare the next terrorist attack on Russian soil.[1] As OG 68 and his colleagues observe how “their” Imam is turning a desperate Chechen widow into a suicide bomber, the reader is left wondering if some of these “black widows”, who have committed many of the worst terror attacks in Russia, had gotten a similar treatment.[2] But one thing is for sure: Azerbaijan plays a central role in Gladio B and other U.S./NATO intelligence operations in the region.[3] Therefore, it would come as no real surprise if Baku was indeed hosting an operations center to coordinate the “planning and preparation for some of the most elaborately staged terror attacks in Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia.”[4] Interestingly enough, the operations center in The Lone Gladio is connected with the U.S. military attaché building and the significance of this location is revealed later on in the book.

Another main conduit for the Gladio B operations is Turkey and Sibel Edmonds hints at Turkey’s key role in fostering the Islamist insurgency in Russia’s North Caucasus, when Colonel Winston Tanner (OG 52) explains to Greg McPhearson who is going to take credit for the attack in Russia:

The colonel nodded. “Our Chechen base currently is divided. Those we no longer need will take credit for this attack. Those we keep will run the postexecution show from their HQ in Ankara.”

Greg paused. “How do we ensure silence of the other Chechen faction?”

“There won’t be any left, at least not with information or ties to us. We’re taking out five, three of them in Turkey – blamed on the FSB. We leave a trail of breadcrumbs straight to the Russians. They can blow off steam and throw out allegations, but they won’t get far. They don’t have our media capabilities.”[5]

In recent years, Russian intelligence agents have assassinated many Chechens abroad, most of them in Turkey.[6] So nobody would believe the Russians even if they were actually innocent. The Lone Gladio is thought-provoking from the very first page and the blurry line between fiction and reality encourages the reader to take a closer at publicly available information about the actors, locations and operations mentioned by Sibel Edmonds in her novel. Even small details deserve closer attention. For example, when Georgia’s Poti Sea Port is named as a transit point for Afghan heroin in the drug trafficking network of the company,[7] this is hardly accidental.[8]

As FBI analyst Elsie Simon, expert in the Turkey-Central Asian-Caucasus nexus, comes across some very explosive documents, we get know more about Operation Gladio B than ever before.[9] Among others, the documents reveal Georgia’s role in all of this. NATO’s proxy in the South Caucasus has been instrumental in supporting the “Chechen rebels” and from time to time this is being exposed. Two years ago, the so-called Lopota incident rocked the country. After 14 people had been killed during clashes between Georgian security forces and Chechen fighters, Georgian officials claimed that they had thwarted an attempt by insurgents to enter Georgia from Dagestan. But an investigation by Georgia‘s human rights ombudsman later concluded that the Chechens “had been recruited in Europe by Georgian Interior Ministry officials, brought to Tbilisi, and trained over a period of several months in the use of weaponry with the intention of enabling them to cross the border from Georgia into Chechnya to join the ranks of the Islamic insurgency.”[10] Readers of The Lone Gladio will realize that operations like this are not conducted by the respective puppet government on its own, as we are often led to believe. Instead, Pentagon, NATO, CIA and MI6 are pulling the strings behind the scenes.

This rule applies also when it comes to one of the most important company assets with regard to Operation Gladio B: Fethullah Gülen. CIA puppet Gülen and his vast movement play a decisive role in furthering the Islamization of Central Asia and the Caucasus region. When Greg McPhearson makes his way to the company’s main mullah training center, which is located in Houston and operated by the Gülen movement, he tells us how this works:

The true purpose of this company-owned center was to groom and train selected candidates as mullahs, Muslim preachers, who then were assigned to specific regions and nations such as Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Xinjiang, Here they would recruit, indoctrinate, brainwash and train fanatic Islamists to be used in myriad terror operations designed and executed by the company whenever needed.[11]

FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds has repeatedly highlighted the dubious activities of the Gülen movement in the Eurasian Balkans, where Gülen’s schools have regularly sheltered CIA agents.[12] Given the large number of fighters from Central Asia and the Caucasus among the “Syrian rebels”, this modus operandi seems to be still going strong. Especially the Chinese government is currently concerned about the brainwashing of young Muslims and has therefore launched a crackdown on madrassas in the far western region of Xinjiang.[13] But as long as the company tries to implement its East Turkestan project, there will be no end to the violence in Xinjiang.[14]

The Lone Gladio is a must-read for everyone who is interested in the New Great Game in the Eurasian Balkans. Sibel Edmonds has written an eye-opening book, which sheds light on Operation Gladio B and provides much-needed information to understand current developments in Central Asia, the Caucasus and beyond.

The Lone Gladio: An Edge-of-Your-Seat Thriller

“A globetrotting, Crichton-esque narrative unfolds, from Baku to the jungles of Vietnam, in true page-turning fashion!”

By Tom Secker

This morning I finished reading Sibel Edmonds’ debut novel The Lone Gladio, less than 24 hours after I started reading the book.  A more considered review will come later but my initial reaction is thus:

In typical thriller fashion the story follows a wide web of interconnected characters across multiple agencies and spheres of life.  From FBI translator and analyst Elsie Simon via ex black ops specialist Greg McPhearson to renowned terrorist commando Yousef Mahmoud – this is a tale set in the deep state, and based on real people and true events.  Two agents are forced out of the FBI for getting too close to an international network responsible for false flag terrorism, assassinations, drug running and child prostitution.  They pursue their investigation, carrying us along with them for the ride.

For a dozen different reasons, I could not put this book down, and you won’t be able to either.

The Lone Gladio is available in Kindle, paperback and Nook formats.  You can also buy a signed copy from the author at The Lone Gladio website.  Sibel will hopefully be appearing on ClandesTime next month to talk about her new book, so we can all look forward to that.

A Review by Corbett Report: “The Lone Gladio” Blows the Lid Off Of Gladio B

“Eat your heart out, Fleming, Clancy, Le Carré; “The Lone Gladio” boldly goes where no mere spy yarn would dare!”

By James Corbett

null The Lone Gladio,” the new novel by FBI whistleblower and BoilingFrogsPost.com founder Sibel Edmonds, is not just another spy novel. Yes, it is about spies…of a sort. And clandestine missions. And double-crosses and unsure loyalties. But that’s where the similarity ends.

“The Lone Gladio” derives its name from Operation Gladio. As even the most mainstream source (read: Wikipedia) will tell you, Operation Gladio was a NATO-led “stay-behind” operation to build up paramilitary forces that could resist Soviet occupation in the event of a Soviet invasion of Europe. It operated in many countries but is most closely associated with Italy where the program was first exposed in spectacular fashion by Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti in October, 1990. The scale of the scandal involved with the revelation of this program is hard to overstate; Gladio stay-behind operatives were intimately involved with some of the worst atrocities of Italy’s so-called “Years of Lead” including the Bologna Massacre, a bombing of the Bologna railway station that left 85 dead and over 200 wounded.

What the mainstream sources do not tell you about Operation Gladio is that it is not merely a NATO-led operation, but a CIA-sponsored and Pentagon-connected one; that it is not merely operative in Europe but throughout the world; that its main area of operations is not Italy but Turkey; and that it did not end operations after the fall of the Soviet Union, but merely changed tactics, from fostering right-wing paramilitary groups (original Gladio) to fostering Islamic terrorist groups (Gladio “B”).

All of this is documented fact, although for the deeper analysis of these facts and how they relate to the current “war on terror” you’ll have to invest the time in my landmark interview series with Sibel Edmonds on Gladio B that was conducted last year. In that series, Sibel Edmonds went further than ever before in laying out what she gathered in her time as a translator in the Washington Field Office of the FBI, including: US State Department / Gladio operative’s liaison with Osama Bin Laden’s right-hand man throughout the 1990s; the NATO takeover of Afghan poppy fields after 9/11 and Gladio-protected drug running and money laundering operations; the dramatic life (and death) of drug trafficker, assassin and Turkish government collaborator Abdullah Çatlı; the direction of billionaire Imam Fethullah Gulen’s mysterious fortune and his 600 madrasas from his Pennsylvania castle with his CIA backers; Gladio-sponsored false flag terror operations in Central Asia and the Caucasus; and much more.

Any way you slice it, the information packed into the Gladio B series is explosive, pun intended. But as deeply involved as it is with characters, names, places and events that most in the Western world have little or no familiarity with, it can be difficult to see the forest for the trees. “The Lone Gladio” is a work of ‘fiction’ that steps back from the trees to show you the forest.

The central conceit of the novel is that a high-ranking Gladio operative, stung by the incidental killing of his lover (“collateral damage” as he himself would have termed it), goes rogue, setting in motion a series of events that threatens to expose the entire Gladio B operation. Caught up along the way are a high-ranking Congressman on a child sex tour of Cambodia; the CIA team that is surveilling and blackmailing him; an American reporter caught in the crossfire; a US mogul searching for his son’s killers; the Russian operatives who have penetrated his organization; and Elsie Simon, a plucky 5 foot 3 inch 105 pound FBI translator haunted by the disappearance of her father.

No jingoistic patriotism and good guys in service to the president bunkum here. Consider this description of the shadow government from “OG 68″ aka Greg MacPhearson, the high-ranking Gladio operative gone rogue:

“There are others outside the government, and they are the ones on top. They are the true power that controls the second tier: the government front system—because government is a front. The CIA too sets up front companies; it’s strikingly similar. The real power—the Deep State, let’s call it—is out and above the actual visible government.”

The true power of this novel is that, although it is a work of fiction with fictional characters and fictional license is taken (the 9/11 false flag is revealed as a hoax on national television, after all), it is still a tale told by an insider with an insider’s knowledge of this system and how it functions.

Self-Publishing: A Powerful Tool to Challenge the Corporate Establishment & the Deep State

Utilizing all we can in our fight against those who stand between us & our liberties

The price of liberty is eternal vigilance, said Thomas Jefferson. We must remain vigilant individually and collectively- that is, if we value our liberties and integrity. We must utilize all we can in our fight against those who stand between us and our liberties.

There are collective actions that we can take. No one can deny the power of a united front in taking on the establishment: collective protests, collective boycotting, social networking to spread blacked-out information and new …

There also are many actions that we can take as individuals. At its face value, each individual action and its impact may appear insignificant. However, when you start adding them together you see and understand their amazing effects:

Think about individual families who have decided to take a stand against the institutionalization and indoctrination of their children by the establishment:

There are about 2.2 million home-educated students in the United States. There were an estimated 1.73 to 2.35 million children (in grades K to 12) home educated during the spring of 2010 in the United States (Ray, 2011). It appears the homeschool population is continuing to grow (at an estimated 2% to 8% per annum over the past few years).

A recent report in Education News states that, since 1999, the number of children who are homeschooled has increased by 75%. Though homeschooled children represent only 4% of all school-age children nationwide, the number of children whose parents choose to educate them at home rather than a traditional academic setting is growing seven times faster than the number of children enrolling in grades K-12 every year.

We are looking at individual choice and actions that amount to millions collectively. Can anyone deny the power and impact reflected in these numbers? Well, it starts with one, only one individual family unit.

There are so many examples that illustrate individual actions growing into a massive front in challenging the establishment: Saying no to mass medication and vaccination, refusing body scanners at the airports, boycotting and weaning ourselves from the establishment media …

That brings me to the topic of empowerment and independence that comes with self-publishing. I believe I have earned the right to speak up on this issue. I loathe people who engage in practices that contradict what they preach in public. I have disdain for those who never practice what they advocate and preach (Well, that takes care of every single political and public figure we have. Doesn’t it?!).

With my first book, Classified Woman: The Sibel Edmonds Story, I was kind of led to the path of self-publishing.  Here is how it went:

I had to obtain legal services and fight the government to clear my book for publication. As a former FBI contractor with Top Secret Clearance I had, without realizing it at the time (aka naivety), signed away my right to publish any nonfiction books without obtaining prepublication review and approval from the Justice Department and the FBI. To make a long story short (-er), DOJ-FBI refused to clear a single word in my book manuscript. They claimed that everything, every single word in my manuscript, was considered classified, thus not allowed to be published. If you think this is some kind of fantasy or embellishment, please read the following: Click Here As you can see by the documented evidence, the Kafkaesque situation is as real as it comes in the so-called Land of the Free.

Anyhow. What happened next? The DOJ-FBI authorities held on to their ludicrous assertion. They put their foot down and said: Dare to publish this, and we’ll send you to jail with a one-way ticket. Guess what I did? For those of you who have been with and known me this doesn’t come as a surprise. I said: ‘I dare you.’ I took my chances. I want to emphasize ‘I’ since doing so, publishing Classified Woman without government approval, only put me at risk- If I published the book I was going to be the only liable party.

You’d think, with scandalous publicity like that (The Forbidden Book, The New & Real Fahrenheit 451), the top US publishers would have fallen all over each other to get the right to print and publicize the book. Wouldn’t you? Not so. The top 5 publishers (in size only) refused to touch the book. They said things like: We don’t want to get into some hot water with the FBI, or, we will only publish this if we have undisputable approval from the government …

Then I went to Mid-Size publishers. The majority of mid-size establishment publishers responded along the same lines as their bigger brothers. A couple of them differed by using other ludicrous lines such as: ‘Your book gets into the Obama administration (and it makes him look bad). Your case happened during the Bush Administration. We will be willing to consider it if you end the book with Chapter 18 and get rid of the chapters dealing with the Obama Admin.’ I said: over my dead body- this was a true account, not subject to any establishment modification.

In the end I was left with only one choice in order to publish this book, and do so with integrity and truthfulness. That choice was: Self-Publishing. At the time, self-publishing was fairly new, and it came with a bunch of stereotype and a bad reputation (of course, by the mainstream media and establishment), and loads of stigmatization. In order to make the best out of a hard situation, and to lessen the negativities attached to self-published books, I decided to approach the self-publication process as any traditional publishing house would: I searched, found, and hired a highly-respected and experienced editor who had worked with one of the top 3 publishing houses for decades; I brought on board an award-winning book cover designer who also had worked with one of the top three publishers for several decades; I also hired one of the top book interior designers in the industry and employed the assistance of independent proofreaders …

In the end we came up with a good quality and solidly produced book that we could all be proud of:  A book that did not differ from those published by the establishment publishers in look and feel; a book that differed greatly from those taken on and altered by the establishment publishers when it came to its content. And contrary to all the negative predictions, Classified Woman became fairly successful. Without any marketing dollars and power, without any coverage (without a single word from the mainstream media), and without utilizing the polarized partisanship divide, we were able to make it possible for Classified Woman to achieve the status of a very successful nonfiction book - based on mainstream establishment standards.

Was it difficult? Sure.

Was it expensive? Of course- we had to get a small loan for production.

Was it worth it? You bet. It became a book that not only challenged the establishment with its content, but also with its quality and the way it was published independently. It is a book that I am proud of. It is a book that is measured and judged solely by its readers- the real people, not by tools of propaganda created and promoted by the Deep State.

I challenged the establishment by writing this book in the first place. I continued the challenge throughout the retaliation and threats issued by the government. Further, I challenged and boycotted the mainstream establishment corporations by publishing it independently.

This is why I decided to do exactly the same thing with my new book The Lone Gladio. Of course, this time around I had none of the previous big obstacles: As a fiction book I did not have to submit the manuscript to the government. Because of that, and considering the relative success of my previous book, this time around I actually had a few publishers approach me with offers to get the rights to publish this book. I did not have to think about it; not even for a second. My answer was firm: No. I am going to publish this independently.

Writing The Lone Gladio was my way of challenging the criminal establishment- the Deep State, as an individual.

Self-publishing The Lone Gladio was my way of boycotting and challenging the mainstream establishment publishing houses- The mega corporations that have become the mouthpiece and propaganda outlets of the Deep State, as an individual.

Bringing The Lone Gladio directly to you, the people, was, and is, my way of bypassing the mainstream media and channels, and making them irrelevant, as an individual.

Spreading the info and getting the word out on this book is up to you, the people, to take on, as one way to challenge and counter the establishment and its mega corporations, collectively.

Utilizing this book to inform and educate others on the Deep State is also up to you, the people, both as individuals and collectively.

I, Sibel Edmonds, as an individual, have taken on, challenged and countered the establishment with The Lone Gladio.

You, the people, collectively, can utilize this effort to collectively challenge and counter the establishment by being the media and network to spread the word and to inform others.

The price of our freedom and liberty is indeed eternal vigilance. We must do all we can for our freedom- individually and collectively. And we must never give up. Never.

Classified Woman-Information & Updates

Independent Publishing: The Best Way to Go

During the last few months I have been receiving several inquiries a day regarding my memoir Classified Woman-The Sibel Edmonds Story. You have been asking about future book signing events, and some of you want to know about it’s availability-nationally and internationally.

It seems that despite setting up a separate website for my book, for whatever reason(s) most people are unaware of the straight story on the journey it took to publish this book. I don’t blame you. There are billions of ‘things’ on the internet-how do we wade through all that information?

The short story is this: After waiting for almost a year for the FBI’s pre-publication review process, after fighting the FBI-DOJ for a year to obtain the ‘required’ pre-pub approval, and after trying to get this book published via traditional publishing channels (All of whom required direct FBI blessing and complete partisan narrative) … I said ‘the heck with it all,’ then I put together my own team of editor, proof-reader and cover-designer, and I published this memoir all by myself; independently and without the government’s approval or a single middleman. Oregon-Beyond Portland

Classified Woman on Lew Rockwell Show-Transcript

oregonI’ve been meaning to write a long post to update you on my major life-change; however, I’ve been racing against time; nonstop-since July. Here is a brief update instead of waiting for a needed break to write a comprehensive update:

First, I want to thank all your well-wishes and warm welcomes from our Oregonian supporters. For some reason many have automatically assumed Portland as my new home city. Could it be my life-long big-city-girl status (Istanbul, Tehran, Baku, Washington DC …)? Most likely ‘Yes,’ but I am happily going to prove you wrong on that one.

I chose a tiny little city in Central Oregon as my new home. Hello Central Oregon! I am surrounded by beautiful mountains, dozens of lakes-rivers-creeks. I am lucky to not face anything that even slightly resembles the horrendous traffic (round the clock rush-hour) in the DC area. I love the laid- back and friendly attitude of people (no more nasty stressed-out big city people). And I am relieved by reasonable living expenses such as affordable housing. We have a nice library and many outdoor activities for children here. For a tiny little city this place has dozens of awesome coffeehouses (some of you know my absurd addiction to good espresso/coffee).To make the long story short: I am loving it up here. Do we have anyone from Central Oregon among our irate minority friends? If yes, please let me know. I haven’t explored the political landscape here. Not yet.

Now, the move. What a ride! We sold our house, all our furniture and ‘things’ except for pictures-books and a few sentimental items (mainly my daughter’s toys). We sold our car.  We were on the road for a few weeks. We got here, and had a hard time securing a short-term rental due to the high season for tourism. We lived in 3 different vacation rentals, two of which didn’t have land-line or reliable internet connections.  We found our long-term housing, got it, and for the past couple of weeks I’ve been frantically working on furnishing it (from furniture to linens, plates, cutleries … you name it! Again, to make this brief, by October 25 we should be in our new house, and almost settled with my PC back (my lap top is 7 years old and semi-functional), my land-line and reliable internet connection in place .. basically, I will be in a place that I can call ‘home.’ [Read more...]

Classified Woman Review: “Sibel Edmonds Finally Wins”

An Independent Review by David Swanson

CW I am truly honored by the following review of Classified Woman by David Swanson at WarisaCrime.Org. Here are a few excerpts from the review:

The experiences she recounts resemble K.'s trip to the castle, as told by Franz Kafka, only without the pleasantness and humanity.

I've read a million reviews of nonfiction books about our government that referred to them as "page-turners" and "gripping dramas," but I had never read a book that actually fit that description until now.

The F.B.I., the Justice Department, the White House, the Congress, the courts, the media, and the nonprofit industrial complex put Sibel Edmonds through hell. This book is her triumph over it all, and part of her contribution toward fixing the problems she uncovered and lived through.

...

Edmonds translated other materials that involved the selling of U.S. nuclear information to foreigners and spotted a connection to a previous case involving the purchase of such information. The FBI, under pressure from the State Department, Edmonds writes, prevented her from notifying the FBI field offices involved. Edmonds has testified in a court deposition, naming as part of a broad criminal conspiracy Representatives Dennis Hastert, Dan Burton, Roy Blunt, Bob Livingston, Stephen Solarz, and Tom Lantos, and the following high-ranking U.S. government officials: Douglas Feith, Paul Wolfowitz, and Marc Grossman.

...

Yet, thus far, no branch of our government has lifted its little finger to fix the problem of secrecy and the corruption it breeds, which Edmonds argues has grown far worse under President Obama. That's why this book should be spread far and wide, and read aloud to our misrepresentatives in Congress if necessary. This book is a masterpiece that reveals both the details and the broader pattern of corruption and unaccountability in Washington, D.C. Edmonds has not exposed bad apples, but a rotten barrel of toxic waste that will sooner or later infect us all -- not just the whistleblowers like Sibel and the thousands of people in our government who see something and dare not say something for fear that we will not have their back. Let's have their back.

...

You can read the full review here at David’s website.

As many of you already know, this book is opposed by the government and hated by the establishment. Meaning - it will depend solely on the people and real alternative media and forums to get the word out. I have been doing exactly that: challenging the government by writing this book, challenging the corporate publishers by independently publishing it, and choosing true alternatives over the establishment media to publicize it.

Every single one of you can help make this book known and read- whether it is e-mailing those you know, posting on various forums and social networks, or simply talking about it directly to your friends. And I am grateful to all of you- the members of our irate minority.

The EyeOpener- Exposing ‘In-Q –Tel’: The CIA’s Own Venture Capital Firm

Google, Facebook, the IT Sector and the CIA

BFPVideoLogo

IQTIn-Q-Tel was formed by the CIA in 1999 as a private, not-for-profit venture capital firm with the specific task of delivering technology to America's intelligence community. Publicly, In-Q-Tel markets itself as an innovative way to leverage the power of the private sector by identifying key emerging technologies and providing companies with the funding to bring those technologies to market. In reality, however, what In-Q-Tel represents is a dangerous blurring of the lines between the public and private sectors in a way that makes it difficult to tell where the American intelligence community ends and the IT sector begins.

In-Q-Tel has generated a number of stories since its inception based on what can only be described as the "creepiness" factor of its investments in overtly Orwellian technologies.

This is our EyeOpener Report by James Corbett presenting documented facts and cases on the CIA’s privately owned venture capital firm In-Q-Tel, in which well-connected board members drawn from the private sector profit from the investments made with CIA funds that come from the taxpayer.
