DisInfoWars with Tom Secker: Lawrence of Arabia

Was Lawrence of Arabia the first Gladio B operative? In answering this question, today's episode presents a view of World War One from the perspective of British geostrategy in the Middle East. Using a fascinating lecture as the basis for our discussion I outline how Turkey got drawn into the war, at a time when the Ottoman Empire was crumbling. The British government adopted not just a double-dealing but a triple-dealing strategy to counter the Ottomans, which bears remarkable similarities to what is happening today. The agent at the center of carrying out this strategy was TE Lawrence a.k.a. Lawrence of Arabia.

Probable Cause with Sibel Edmonds: Truth vs. Silent Witnesses & Official Lies

Welcome to our sixteenth episode of Probable Cause. This episode continues and furthers our previous discussion on official narratives-official lies. We will be talking about a common false belief held by millions of people: Major government operations would be known to many, there is no way to keep all those with direct knowledge silent, and thus, they could never be hushed and covered up.

We are going to discuss official lies, whistleblowers, silent witnesses, and how the majority falls for official fictions and dismisses truth. We will also be discussing another common tactic used by the deep state and its tentacles to promote official-lies and cover up truth: Muddying the facts by bombarding people with conflicting, contradicting, and confusing supplementary lies before moving on to their next officially-narrated official lie.

Why, when it comes to truth, in almost every single case, for every whistleblower/truth-teller does there seem to be dozens or more silent witnesses? Despite dozens of established and publicized credible cases why does the public still remain wary and skeptical of whistleblowers? These are just two of several questions we will be posing in this episode’s discussion. As always, our next episode will be based on your reaction, critique, responses and questions posed in the comments section below.

Processing Distortion with Peter B. Collins: “Sen. Feinstein Helps Husband Profit in Postal Property Scheme”

Peter B. Collins Presents Investigative Reporter Peter Byrne

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), the powerful chair of the Intelligence Committee, has used her influence in many ways that benefit her husband, millionaire investor Richard Blum. Peter Byrne's continuing investigation of Blum's business interests reveals that the real estate firm CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), run by Blum, has a sweetheart contract with the US Postal Service to sell buildings and property that are declared surplus. Using public records and FOIA disclosures, Byrne shows that Feinstein has intervened with Postal Service management on matters where Blum and partners have benefited, and that an inspector general has issued a scathing audit of CBRE's exclusive contract, citing "conflict of interest concerns". Byrne details the many conflicts that Blum has, his profiteering from defense contracts, and much more. He issues a direct challenge to the Center for Investigative Reporting and ProPublica to cover the Feinstein/Blum nexus, as well as a challenge to a federal prosecutor to review this "blueprint for an indictment".

Peter Byrne is an investigative reporter and author based in California. He is primarily a science writer, but has been investigating Feinstein and Blum for over 6 years. His third and most recent report is Going Postal: US Senator Dianne Feinstein's Husband Sells Post Offices to His Friends, Cheap. It's available as a low-cost e-book at Amazon or via his website. De-Manufacturing Consent-Message to DC: Stop Watching Us, We Are Not the Enemy

Guillermo Jimenez Presents Kelly Vlahos

On this edition of De-Manufacturing Consent: Guillermo is joined by Washington, DC based freelance journalist, Kelley Vlahos. Guillermo and Kelley discuss the Stop Watching Us rally held in DC over the weekend in protest of the NSA's domestic surveillance program and the "strange bedfellows" that gathered together for a common cause. We also revisit the case of Miriam Carey, a "post-9/11 harbinger," who was killed by police just a few short weeks ago in the ultra-paranoid city of Washington, DC. We discuss the media's failures in reporting this story, why it remains relevant and should not be brushed aside as "old news," and the lessons that can be learned from this tragic event.

Geopolitics with Ryan Dawson-“End the Biggest Financial Scam in History”

Ryan Dawson Presents Bill Still

GPBill Still, the author of 22 books and two award winning documentaries, The Secret of Oz and The Money Masters, joins us today to discuss Monetary reform. If collecting interest on loans from imaginary money is such an obvious scam, then why aren't more politicians, economists, and media persons explaining the obvious scheme? Does the Federal Reserve protect us from or enable the irresponsible gambling of big commercial banks? Why won't ending the Fed matter without two more crucial steps?

The Reality Principle -Episode 16

“The Politics of Education” with Julie Cavanagh

RPLogoEric sits down with Julie Cavanagh, an educator in New York City and one of the founding members of the MORE Caucus NYC (Movement of Rank and File Educators). Eric and Julie examine many of the most important issues facing public education and public sector unions in general. They discuss the nature of the new evaluation system that is a direct assault on teachers as well as the use of high stakes, standardized testing as a measure of both student progress and teacher effectiveness. Eric and Julie also examine the fundamental and structural problems within the United Federation of Teachers (UFT), the New York City local of the American Federation of Teachers, and the various ways in which the MORE Caucus is attempting to address the inherently undemocratic way in which the union represents its members. In addition, they explore the motivations of financiers like New York City Mayor Bloomberg and the real agenda behind so-called “school reform”.

Julie Cavanagh is a Special Education teacher in New York City. She is the candidate for President of the United Federation of Teachers representing the MORE Caucus. Follow her on twitter @juliecavanagh15. Visit morecaucusnyc.org for more information.

Soothing the Beast: Saturday Night BFP-Jamiol Music, Episode 16

Steppenwolf

STB_S

This week's BFP/Jamiol Music pick was really easy. It was a request from our own Bill Bergman so it's almost like a night off for me. Bill's pick is Monster by Steppenwolf. John Kay and Jerry Edmonton wrote and released this powerful song back in 1969 almost over 40 years ago. Listening to the lyrics shows little over those 40 years has changed.

Part of the visuals accompanying the music are from our present time and slams home how little has changed. Bill, thanks for request. While Irate, our little furry friend in the recliner above, may not be all that soothed tonight, he will seriously enjoy Steppenwolf's Monster...DJPJ [Read more...]

Empire, Power, and People with Andrew Gavin Marshall- Episode 16

The Lost Generation?

EPPMove out of home, go to school, get a loan, graduate, get a job, pay your taxes, get a mortgage, buy a house, get married, have kids, grow old, and die. My generation, and those that follow, are incapable of meeting the expectations that are held up for us to meet. The world we are living in is far different from those generations which preceded us. Using Canada as an example, this episode examines the coming economic crisis, developing social youth movements, and the failure of expectations for the youth in Canada, North America, and the world at large. The game is rigged, and we are set up to fail. The time has come for the youth to understand the world we are inheriting, and to make a choice: do we passively accept a suffering existence, or do we actively create something new? Older generations must also realize that they can no longer coddle and pressure their children to do as they did, but must also accept the realities of the world, and work with the youth in creating something new. So, will we be a lost generation, or a creative generation?
