DisInfoWars with Tom Secker: Is David Shayler a Fake Whistleblower?

David Shayler is possibly the most famous security service whistleblower in British history. He has also claimed to be the Messiah. In this episode I delve into Shayler's story and his influence on the 9/11 and 7/7 truth movements, where he has always advocated the most lunatic, tabloid versions of events. I ask if his behavior has been designed to make conspiracy theorists and whistleblowers look crazy, and going deeper than that whether he was some sort of test to see how much the truth movement would tolerate.

In the latter part of the show I recall the book he wrote with his then-partner Annie Machon, which is quite profoundly misleading. It claims, for example, that the alleged Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Al Megrahi was actually guilty, which undermines their central 'revelation' that MI6 sponsored Al Qaeda to try to kill Gaddafi in the mid-1990s. I hypothesize that Shayler and Machon are Trojan horses that are still working for the British state.

Probable Cause with Sibel Edmonds- The Normalization of Corruption in the So-Called Land of the Free

If You See Something, Say Something, Then Get Off Your Bu.. and Do Something About It!

Welcome to our nineteenth episode of Probable Cause. In this episode we’ll be discussing the subject of corruption. As with our previous episode we will be looking at this topic, corruption, not as a separate disease attached to the rulers, aka our deep state and government, but as another dynamic that exists and operates within a symbiotic relationship. We are going to expand our viewing lenses to take in the entire picture rather than a singular focal point.

We’ll begin our discussion with some widely-known and concrete facts and data involving survey results on Americans’ perception of their government, elections, government corruption, normalization and acceptance of lobbying, and much more. From there we’ll delve into the issue of the public’s acceptance and discuss whether this is mainly a societal issue in a nation where moral compasses have long been thrown out, where thievery, abuse and corruption are all lightly frowned upon yet accepted practices. We will end the episode by posing a few macro questions such as ‘does the elected and sustained corrupt government mirror the state of our nation’s majority?’ As always, our next episode will be based on your reaction, critique, responses and questions posed in the comments section below.

Processing Distortion with Peter B. Collins: “OffNow Promotes State & Local Nullification of NSA”

Peter B. Collins Presents Shane Trejo

A project of the Bill of Rights Defense Committee and the Tenth Amendment Center, OffNow.org is organizing state and local nullification of unconstitutional NSA activities. One well-publicized effort would cut off the huge daily water supply needed to cool the servers at the NSA’s massive data farm in Bluffdale, Utah. Another is California’s Senate Bill 828, which would bar state law enforcement from collaborating on illegal surveillance of its residents. There are several other laws in the pipeline in a number of states right now.

The Reality Principle -Episode 19

“The Mythology of Democracy” with Sen. Mike Gravel

RPLogoThis week, Eric sits down with former presidential candidate and senator from Alaska, Mike Gravel. He and Eric discuss the life and legacy of Hugo Chavez as well as the difficult times ahead for Venezuela. Sen. Gravel discusses his experiences in Congress and his first-hand understanding of the interaction of political and corporate power. Additionally, Mike explains how his presidential campaign in 2008 gave him a unique insight into the total lack of character and integrity of President Obama, as well as the degree to which political discourse in the United States has degenerated into unabashed warmongering. Sen. Gravel also discusses the need to transform the political institutions of the US, remaking the representative republic into a more direct democracy. Eric and Mike critically examine the theory behind this model and they destroy the mythology that the United States is a "democracy".

Empire, Power, and People with Andrew Gavin Marshall- Episode 19

The Age of Anti-Austerity

EPPTens of thousands take to the streets in Spain, Chile, Quebec, thousands of others in France, Greece, the U.K., protest movement emerging in the United States, across Europe, continuing struggles in Egypt and Tunisia: this is the Age of Anti-Austerity. Drawing on the historical roots of austerity programs in the Third World with the debt crisis and World Bank/IMF loans, the current global struggle against austerity measures, which is now developing in the Western imperial powers themselves, is placed in its specific historical context as a continuation of protests, riots, rebellions, and resistance against austerity measures in Africa, Asia, and Latin America over the past several decades.

As austerity now becomes a global phenomenon, demanding states impoverish their populations for the personal profits of parasitic elites, the people of the world are beginning to rise up in resistance, in different ways and in different places. There is one connect through it all: this is the Age of Anti-Austerity, and this is the reality of the social situation in which we exist.
