DisInfoWars with Tom Secker- The Ideological Origins of the War on Terror

In the first of a three-part series I look into the 1979 Jerusalem Conference on International Terrorism, where the ideology of the current War on Terror was conceived. I focus in on Benjamin Netanyahu, who hosted the conference and later wrote a book on all the major speeches and discussion. I round off by tracing the legacy of this conference via the example of the original Mohammed cartoons controversy in 2005.

Probable Cause with Sibel Edmonds: Libertarians- The Likely Kindling Point of the Coming Revolution?

Welcome to our third experimental episode of Probable Cause. I want to thank all of you who joined our interactive discussion in our previous two episodes. For this episode I am going to share with you my responses to the questions posed during our first episode: Do you believe we will have some sort of revolution here in the United States in the near future? If so, in your opinion, where will it come from? Which segment of our population do you see likely to revolt?

I will be providing my answers based on what I have been observing, through my own personal lens, and based on my very own experiences, views, reasoning and analyses. And as usual our next episode will be based on your reaction, critique, responses and questions posed in the comments section below.

The Reality Principle -Episode 3

"Iran: A Nation under Attack" with Ardeshir Ommani

RPLogoAlthough most know Iran today as an international pariah, few pay any attention to the covert war being waged against the Islamic Republic of Iran every day. From crippling economic sanctions to the assassination of scientists to the sabotage of critical infrastructure, Iran is under constant attack by her enemies. Israel sees Iran as an obstacle to its own regional hegemonic designs, while the United States sees in Iran a dangerous model for other nations: economic and diplomatic independence outside the dominion of the US Empire. Additionally, Iran is engaged in a long-term proxy war with Saudi Arabia, one that takes a number of forms and has various fronts. Iran is a nation that is proud, rich in culture and history but, sadly, under perpetual assault by its enemies.

Soothing the Beast: Saturday Night BFP-Jamiol Music, Episode 3

Hugh Masekela & His Band

Soothing the Best

I saw Hugh Masekela many many years ago at a small jazz club and was blown away by his music and his sound. His trumpet playing is incredible and I've been a fan of his for forty years. I will be seeing him again this February in Worcester, MA and can't wait.

The emotion Hugh brings to this piece is absolutely astounding. This performance will knock your sox off. This week's pick for Soothing the Beast is Coal Train by Hugh Masekela and his band...Enjoy!...PJ
