The group is The Heights of Abraham, an electronica collaboration formed in the mid-1990s by Steve Cobby, Sim Lister and Jake Harries. They play electronica, ambient techno, and chill out music. The song was released as a single, and it was boycotted in certain southern states. It is one of my favorites of Simone's performances.
